Where in the World is Wieuca
Christ has no body now on earth but yours,
no hands but yours,
no feet but yours,
Yours are the eyes through which to look out
Christ's compassion to the world
Yours are the feet with which he is to go about
Yours are the hands with which he is to bless men now.”
-St. Teresa of Avilla

Buckhead Christian MinistryWieuca is one of the founding churches of this vital ministry that assists people who are homeless or working poor in our city. You can help BCM by volunteering or by making donations of money, clothing, or food donations. Twice a year, Wieuca is responsible for filling the pantry at BCM. Many of our members also serve BCM regularly by working in the food pantry or thrift store (Buckhead THRIFTique), as an intake volunteer, or special events volunteer. If you are interested in learning how to get involved with BCM, contact Buckhead THRIFTique volunteer Helen McLeskey or BCM board representative Melba Hill.

We move in and out of seasons in our lives and sometimes those season make it hard for us to be directly involved in all the ministries that touch our heart. If that is the case for you, financial contributions are a valuable way to support community organizations and our church. Another valuable way you can make an impact is to pray for the work that our church, covenant groups and individuals are doing. You could start by praying the poem above.
Loving God.We gather together on Sunday mornings to turn our hearts toward God and be transformed by being in God's presence.
Connecting People.Through our Covenant Groups and Sunday School programs we connect people to each other by creating deep and meaningful relationships.
Changing Lives. We become the hands and feet of Christ to our community through ministry outreach.
