MONDAY - Shy
- Read Joshua 1:9
- Sometimes when we have new things to do, it is easy to feel shy! It makes us feel nervous about doing things we are not sure or have not tried to do before! But God reminds us that we can be strong and courageous! The next time you feel shy remember that God gives us instructions in the Bible! Take a deep breath and be strong!
TUESDAY - Sad
- Read John 11:35
- Do you know that Jesus had friends? And when one of His friends died, Jesus was sad. The Bible tells us that He wept or cried. That reminds me that Jesus cares and loves people! Jesus cares about how I feel. It is good for us to remember that Jesus cares how we feel!
WEDNESDAY - Happy
- Read John 3:16
- Oh happy day! God loves you so much that He sent His only son to Earth! That news is amazing—but think Jesus came to Earth to live AND to die for us! That part of the news makes me very happy! Thankful to remember that God loves me so much. Look in the mirror and tell yourself GOD LOVES ME and put a happy face on!
THURSDAY - Worried
- Read Matthew 6:28-30
- Jesus knew there are times we might be worried! He reminds us that God cares for the birds and the flowers! We can remember how God cares for us. There is a fun song that say: Don’t worry, Be happy! You might add and Trust God! Can you make a ‘worried’ face —and then turn it into a happy face!
FRIDAY - Embarrassed
- Read Genesis 1:21
- If Jesus called you down out of a tree and said I will go to your house today, would you have felt embarrassed? All the crowd looked around to see who Jesus picked! They were shocked to see who it was! Can you make an embarrassing face? And then think about how Zacchaeus felt when Jesus went to his house!
SATURDAY - Angry
- Read Ephesians 4:31
- Sometimes when we don’t get our way, we might get angry and mad. Have you been angry? It is not fun to be angry. The Bible reminds us that we should not get angry with one another. The Bible even says we should not shout. It is easy to shout and yell when we are angry. The next time you are mad, remember what the Bible says about controlling our mouth.
SUNDAY - Excited
- Read Psalm 150: 1-6
- How exciting to think that everything can praise God! You can praise God today when worship on Livestream! Do you have any instruments like the Bible describes that you can use to praise God? Remember you can always use your hands and clap or pat your knees. Today is an exciting day as we praise the Lord together!

MONDAY - God created the Universe
- Read Genesis 1:1
- God created so many things! On the first day of His creation, He created the universe! Today thank God for making the world. Today take your play-doh and create a universe—the Earth and the Heaven.
TUESDAY - God created the Sky
- Read Genesis 1:8
- God separated the waters and created the sky! Look how far the sky is away from us. Can you imagine how big God is to create something that tall? Our sky is beautiful. Can you create the sky with some clouds?
WEDNESDAY - God created the Plants and Trees
- Read Genesis 1:11
- God spoke and told the Earth to create plants and trees. Some of the plants would make fruits and others would make grains. God knew that His creation would need food. What is your favorite plant or tree that has food? Can you try to create it with your play-doh?
THURSDAY - God created the Sun and Moon
- Read Genesis 1:16
- WOW! Can you imagine that God created the sun and moon and stars? They are just beautiful. Use your play-doh to make a sun, moon and at least a couple of stars! Today when you see the sun, moon and stars remember to thank God!
FRIDAY - God created the Birds and Fish
- Read Genesis 1:21
- Can you hear the birds? There are lots of kinds of birds and different kinds of fish. When the birds are flying high in the sky, it is amazing how they can fly with their wings! The fish can swim deep into the water. God made some amazing things for the air and water! Can you create a fish or bird?
SATURDAY - God created Animals and People
- Read Genesis 1:24 and Genesis 1:27
- God made lots of things on the last day of Creation! He made all the animals and the people! Today use your play-doh and make your favorite animal. Then see if you can make an image of yourself using your play-doh. God made you special!
SUNDAY - God Rested
- Read Genesis 2:2
- God rested on the 7th day! He had made so many things and rested! Give your play-doh a rest. Take some time today and remember all the amazing things that God created . Today, thank God that He created you!

MONDAY - "Thankful, I am thankful for..."
- Read Colossians 3:15
- Our Mommas do so many things for us! Name one reason you are thankful for your Mom! Tell your Mom, "I am thankful for you because...". Today, show Mom you are thankful by setting the table for dinner! Be watching for dinner time.
TUESDAY - "I remember!"
- Read 1 Chronicles 16:12
- Just like the Lord has done so many good things for us, our Mommas do so many good things for us too! Think back and remember when your Momma took care of you! Today, help take care of Mom by cleaning up your room without her asking for your help!
WEDNESDAY - "Something Mom always says is..."
- Read Psalm 86:15
- God always loves us! The Bible reminds us that God loves us so much and tells us that all the time! What is something that your Mom says often? Think of something she tells you often. Then make it a point to tell her how much you LOVE her!
THURSDAY - "It was so much fun when..."
- Read Proverbs 6:20-21
- God wants us to remember His teachings and tells our parents to help us remember what the Bible says. One way to help us remember those instructions, is to spend time reading together. Find a book to read together! Make sure you spend time reading your Bible.
FRIDAY - "You taught me how to..."
- Read Mark 12:30-31
- Jesus taught us how to live and reminds us to love others more than ourselves. Your Mom loves you so much! Think about all the things that she has taught you to do! Since she has taught you so much, find a chore to do to help Mom!
SATURDAY - "My favorite thing to do with Mom..."
- Read Matthew 7:12
- Moms do lots of things for us, even when it is may not be their favorite thing to do. Can you do something for your Mom? Jesus tells us to treat others the way we want to be treated. Treat your mom today with a kind action--like cleaning up your clothes or making your bed.
SUNDAY - "I love my Mom because..."
- Read Proverbs 31:28
- Can you list 10 reasons why you love your Mom? Telling Mom why you are thankful for her will help her feel blessed! God gave us a special gift when He gave us a Mom! Give Mom a special gift today by washing the dishes and cleaning up after a meal! You can be a blessing to your Mom today!

MONDAY - God's Promises!
- Read Genesis 9:12-13
- God gave us a beautiful promise when He sent a rainbow. Remember all the colors of the rainbow? On today's card create a pretty rainbow and remind people how God loves us!

- Read Jonah 1:17
- God loves His people so much! He took care of Jonah and the people in the city of Nineveh. Can you imagine living in a whale for a day? Draw a picture of the whale and Jonah. Remind people that God loves His people!

- Read Genesis 1:20-25
- God created an amazing world! He created many kinds of animals. What are your favorite animals? How many animals can you draw on your card today?

FRIDAY - God Hears Us!
- Read Matthew 6:9-13
- Jesus taught us to pray. You know we can talk to God anywhere, anytime, any place! Can you draw a picture of you praying and talking to God? God hears us when we pray!

SATURDAY - God Sent His Son!
- Read Luke 2:4-7
- Mary gave birth to baby Jesus, God's Son. Jesus was born in a stable around all the animals. There was a star shining bright in the sky to show others Jesus was born. Draw a picture of baby Jesus with Mary and the bright start on today's card.

SUNDAY - Everyone Matters to God!
- Read Mark 10:13-16
- Jesus wanted to see the children and bless the children even when the disciples tried to send the children away! Jesus wanted to see the children and touch the children and hug them! Draw a picture of children with Jesus!

MONDAY - Grace Journals
- Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
- Create and decorate a “Grace Journal.” Fold 3-4 sheets of paper in half into a booklet. Each day write 2 things that you are grateful for and truly thankful. Try to include simple, often overlooked gestures. Be ready to share your journal during Saturday’s challenge.
- Supplies: Construction/White Paper, Markers (Crayons, etc.) || Optional: Stapler
TUESDAY - Can You Hear It?
- Read Leviticus 26:4 & Isaiah 55:10
- Today create and decorate your very own rain sticks! Using either a paper towel roll or tissue roll, twist a sheet of foil a little less than the length of the tube around a dowel to create a spiral. Seal one end of the roll using foil and a rubber band. Insert spiral foil and a few teaspoons of rice and seal the other end. Turn the tubes up and down to hear the ‘rain’!
- Supplies: Paper Towel or Tissue Roll, Foil, Rice, Rubber Band, Markers (Crayons, etc.)

WEDNESDAY - Bee Happy!
- Read Ecclesiastes 7:14
- Cut 3-4 large circles (approx.. 2-3’’) and two smaller circles using yellow and black (any color will do) construction paper. Glue the circles in a staggered form to create the body of your bee. Next, glue or draw two smaller circles for the eyes and attach two thin strips for the bee’s antennas. On the body of your bee write, “BEE” happy, don’t worry!”
- Supplies: Black and Yellow Construction Paper, Glue, Pencil

THURSDAY - Bow In the Sky
- Read Genesis 9:13
- No need to wait until after the rain to be reminded of God’s love for us, today let’s create our very own rainbow! Cut a paper plate in half and fill in the colors of the rainbow! Don’t forget those clouds, glue cotton balls at both ends of the ‘bow or draw your own and glue them on!
- Supplies: Paper Plate, Cotton Balls, Markers (Crayons, etc.), Glue
- P.S. Don’t forget your Grace Journal entry!
FRIDAY - Fancy Flowers
- Read Luke 12:27
- Today we’re creating fancy flowers of our own. Add food coloring to different bowls and mix with a small amount of water. Next, gather sets of 1-2 coffee filters and dip them in the colors. Dip the entire filter or get fancy and only dip the perimeter. After your filters dry, fold it in half and cut “U-shaped” petals around the edge. Display your fancy flowers by gluing them to paper and add a stem! (You can always use markers!)
- Supplies: Coffee Filters, Food Coloring (or Crayons, etc.), Water, Scissors, Glue || Optional: Markers

SATURDAY - Breaking Bread, Giving Thanks
- Read Matthew 26:26-28
- As Jesus sat around the table with his disciples, they gave thanks and broke bread together. As you have dinner tonight, incorporate bread that can be passed and broken. Talk about the last meal (bread symbolizes the body and wine symbolizes the blood of Jesus.) As you pass the bread, share something from your “Grace Journal” entries throughout the week. Share your appreciate for those you love!

SUNDAY - Piggy Bank Bucks
- Read Matthew 6:21 and Proverbs 3:9
- Recycle! Today we are making Piggy Banks using a milk jug or water container. After your container is empty, rinsed, and completely dry, create a 1’’ slit to insert coins, etc. Glue on buttons for eyes or simply draw them using a permanent marker above the snout (poke two small holes in top to be the snout). After you have collected money, you can give an offering to the church.

Parents, this week we challenge you to read Scripture, listen to some praise music and be in movement with your family! There is an activity or game listed here for your family to work together to participate.
All songs listed can be found on You Tube, just search the title of the song and the group. Then get ready to move during the Quarantine. (You can at least move around your house!)
MONDAY - Clothes Pin Chase!
- Read Ecclesiastes 4:6
- Attach a clothespin to the back of your shirts. Try to take other clothespins and attach them to your shirt. Whoever has the most clothespins at the end of the game/song wins the game. This is a great game to get some sunshine out in the yard.

TUESDAY - Seek & Find!
- Read Luke 11: 9-10
- For this challenge, your family can choose to play a classic game of Hide and Seek or amp it up a notch! You can do this by hiding common household items around the house. Give hints as kids are getting warmer/colder. Easily hidden items include: remote, stuffed animals, flip flops, a black pen, a receipt, a certain toy, etc.

WEDNESDAY - Red Light, Green Light, Jump!
- Read Psalm 9:2
- Red Light, Green Light, Jump is a fun twist to the classic Red Light! Green Light! Stand as base or starting point across from the players. When the leader yells “Red or Green Light!” everyone runs towards the leader or freezes where they are. When the leader yells “Jump!” everyone should jump towards the leader like a frog, bunny, or a kangaroo! Add variations such as “Yellow light!” or other motions.

THURSDAY - Simon Said What?
- Read 1 Kings 2:1-3
- Just like David gave instructions to his son Solomon, we also receive helping instructions from teachers, parents, and others. Get moving with the Ultimate game of instructions, Simon Says. Here are some ideas to get everyone moving: Shake your whole body, Spin around in circles, Balance on your left/right foot, Bend down and touch your toes 10x, Pretend to sit in an invisible chair 5x, etc. Get as creative as you’d like! Allow everyone a turn to be Simon as they give “moving instructions” to the family.

FRIDAY - Follow the Leader!
- Read 1 Corinthians 11:1-2
- Here are some fun and relaxing Yoga poses for the leader to do and everyone else to follow. Say Hello to the Sun ( stand tall and reach for the sun), Strong Tree ( balance on one foot while reaching to the sky), Flying bird (balance on 1 leg while leaning forward), Falling Rain (with both feet planted on the floor, lean forward and touch the floor), Rainbow Bend (stand tall and lean just like the rainbow does), Friendly Dog ( on all fours, stretch like a friendly dog). Encourage creativity and include your own as well!

SATURDAY - Dancing David!
- Read 2 Samuel 6:14-15
- David danced with all of his might to celebrate God! Team up (or not) and come up with a 1 minute or more dance routine. Make it an event and host a Danciest Dance Off Ever!

SUNDAY - Let's Rest!
- Read Matthew 11:28
- Pretend that you are holding a warm mug of hot chocolate or actually make some! Take in a slow deep breath through your nose to smell the treat. Then breath out through your mouth to cool the sweet treat off. Repeat five times. Deep breathing is a great tool to calm your mind and body!

MONDAY - Pray for Healthcare Professionals!
- Read Matthew 8:1-4
- Consider how Jesus healed people in the Bible. Pray for healthcare professionals as they bravely continue to serve our community for those who are sick. Pray these workers have wisdom, safety, and protection. If you have a friend or family member who is in the healthcare, send them a note of encouragement!
TUESDAY - Pray for Police!
- Read Matthew 6:26-27
- Think about how Jesus taught how God cares for the birds and flowers! We can be thankful that our policemen are helping and caring for our community everyday. These brave men and women go to work everyday and help our community. The next time you hear a siren, pray for their safety and for them to make good choices as they help others.
WEDNESDAY - Pray for Firefighters!
- Read 1 Kings 18:22-39
- Just like a fire can quickly spread, so can good news! Our firemen go and help in our community when there is a fire, a wreck or when someone falls down and needs help getting up. Pray for their safety as are at work! Draw a photo of a fire truck and put it on your refrigerator and pray for their safety.
THURSDAY - Pray for Mail Carriers and Delivery Personnel!
- Read Matthew 2:11
- Don’t you like to get gifts? Jesus received gifts when He was little! Someone has to deliver all our packages and we are so thankful for all the workers who are delivering food, packages, and the mail. Write a note to leave for your mailman or delivery person. Let them know you are thankful for them and praying for their safety!
FRIDAY - Pray for Grocery Store Workers and your Mom and Dad!
- Read 2 Kings 4:1-7
- Aren’t you thankful when groceries come into your home and you find something you like to eat? What is your favorite food? Pray for our grocery store workers as they work to help fill our stores with food. Pray for Mom and Dad who are making food for us! Find a paper plate and cut out food from a magazine and glue it on. Write ‘be thankful’ on the plate!
SATURDAY - Pray for Garbage Collectors!
- Read Exodus 16:1-5
- In the Bible God sent just the right amount of food to the Israelites. They did not have to throw away extras! It is amazing to watch trash being picked up. Aren’t you thankful for the people who pick up the trash and recyclable? Pray for them today! Build a trash truck out of your recyclables! When you see your trash, pray for their safety.
SUNDAY - Pray for your Church Friends and Church Leaders!
- Read Luke 2:41-52
- In the book of Psalm, David wrote: ‘I was glad when they said to me: Let us go into the house of the Lord.’ We miss meeting together at Wieuca but thankful we can be together on the computer. Pray for your church friends and your church leaders today.
