Backpack Donations

Supporting JMA Ministries in Clarkston, GA

Help JMA Ministries

Join Church at Wieuca, the Day School, and Camp Wieuca as we partner with JMA Ministries to provide backpacks and school supplies for children in the Clarkston community.

Our goal is 200 backpacks, and each backpack costs $20.

What's in a backpack?

Church at Wieuca has supported JMA Ministries through mission funding and Vacation Bible School programs for children in the Clarkston community.

This year, our church family, Day School, and Camp Wieuca are partnering together to provide backpacks and school supplies for the children served through JMA Ministries.

Each backpack will be filled with important school supplies, including:

  • Pencils
  • Pens
  • Paper
  • Crayons
  • Markers
  • And more

How you can help

Our goal is to provide 200 backpacks for children in the Clarkston community. Help us do this by purchasing a backpack.

With the help of Manda Hunt from the Empty Stockings Fund and her partnerships with wholesale suppliers, we have been able to purchase backpacks and school supplies at a discounted cost.

Because of this, each fully stocked backpack costs just $20.

Your $20 donation will help provide a child with the supplies they need for the upcoming school year.

Help Pack the Backpacks

Join us on Wednesday, June 24, as we come together to pack and pray over 200 backpacks that will be distributed to children served by JMA Ministries in Clarkston.

This meaningful service opportunity is a chance to love our neighbors, support local children, and help students begin the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

People of all ages can participate, making this a wonderful opportunity for families to serve together and teach children the importance of caring for others.

Dinner will be served in the Heritage Room at 6:00 PM, followed by backpack packing and prayer.

Can’t attend? You can still help by sponsoring a backpack filled with school supplies for just $20.

To volunteer, RSVP by emailing Joel Mills at JMills@wieuca.org.
