Meet our Partners

Blue Mountain Church

Blue Mountain Church is a church plant in Blairsville, GA, established by missionaries, Nathan and Carrie Dean. For twenty years Nathan and Carrie have worked with “rough people in rough places”. They established the Edgewood Church in an area of east Atlanta. In 2021, the Deans felt called to do it again, uprooting their young family (themselves and their four young children) and moving to the southern Appalachian area of North Georgia. Their “Church Start House” is complete and they continue to pray and work to make it a place where disconnected people can become connected with God.

Buckhead Christian Ministries (BCM)

BCM partners with neighbors facing financial crisis to help them remain in their homes and build long-term stability. Housing is the foundation for success—it keeps children in school, supports steady employment, and strengthens families within their communities.

City of Refuge (COR)

COR offers faith-based programs that help homeless families and sex-trafficked women move toward self-sufficiency. Services include housing and meals, onsite healthcare, vocational training with corporate partners, employer recruiting, K-12 education and after-school programs, college scholarships, and weekly worship opportunities.

Crossroads Community Ministry

Crossroads walks alongside Atlanta’s homeless neighbors, offering one-on-one support and pathways to stability. Services include mailboxes for those without a permanent address, help obtaining IDs and birth certificates, hot meals, MARTA cards, and access to temporary housing. They also connect individuals with social services, job referrals, auto repairs, and other resources to support life change.

Heartbound Ministries

HeartBound Ministries is a non-profit outreach organization that provides programs and resources to meet the needs of the prison community — inmates, their families, and correctional staff — changing the culture from one of crime and incarceration to hope and restoration. HeartBound believes that a prison system can be more than just a place where people “serve time.” We believe a prison system can be a place where lives are healed, transformed, and restored.

JMA Ministries, Inc.

JMA advocates for and works among refugees in Atlanta and people groups in Burma/Myanmar. Their vision is to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the most unreached, untold, underserved, under-developed people in the world in a holistic manner by addressing their spiritual, physical, educational, and emotional needs. Pastor James serves as president and CEO of JMA as well as being the lead pastor at his planted church, Elim Church International, in the Clarkston area.

Morningstar Children and Family Services, Inc.

Founded in 1996 with support from CBF and Georgia churches, Morningstar provides residential and community counseling for children and youth with complex diagnoses, including intellectual disabilities. Its Brunswick facility serves ages 12–18 with specialized residential care, while counseling centers in Brunswick and Perry offer comprehensive mental health services.

Andrew P. Stewart Center

Promotes strong communities through educational initiatives, wellness resources, housing solutions, and social justice activism. For over 100 years, the Stewart Center has served the Pittsburgh community of southwest Atlanta.

Techwood Girls Youth Ministry

Techwood Girls Youth Ministry is a year-round outreach and discipleship ministry for teenage girls that consists of summer camp, weekly Bible studies, and spiritual retreats. They seek to build long-term loving relationships in order to demonstrate God’s heart of compassion and impact lives for Christ for eternity, while also inspiring hope with practical guidance for a positive future.

Wellspring Living

Wellspring Living supports girls and women at risk or victimized by sexual exploitation through safe housing, education, therapy, and career readiness programs. Their goal is to help survivors build confidence, gain life skills, and restore their lives with hope and opportunity. Wellspring Living provides secure learning facilities, safe homes, residential living, and therapeutic support to strengthen girls and young women’s abilities to rebuild their lives.
